FUEL SURCHARGE WEF MONDAY 14TH MARCH 2022
The recent Ukraine conflict is having a direct effect on fuel additive and lubricant prices hitting all time highs that directly affect haulage movements in both Europe and the UK.
The increases are unsustainable, causing a negative impact on the haulage side of the business. In view of the enormous increases then with immediate effect a temporary fuel surcharge is applied to all orders and call offs.
The fuel surcharge will be reviewed weekly and applied weekly based on an average cost over one week. Currently there will be a surcharge of £66 per load for all full and part loads when delivered on flat bed vehicles. Crane vehicle deliveries attract a further surcharge and notified separately. This fuel surcharge sits outside of the recently advised energy surcharge effective 1st April 2022.
We very much appreciate your understanding in this matter where we hope we can return to more acceptable trading patterns in the future thus ensuring temporary surcharges are removed at the earliest opportunity.
